Calling all Westwood Vocal Jazz Students: Mark your calendars for a meeting about Brandon Jazz & Nationals, Oct. 13, 6:30 PM in the Theatre.

Chamber Choir will be on even days from now on to avoid a conflict with Sr. Jazz. Next class is on Tues.

Me  to  Concert Choir 2015-16   Chamber Choir 2015-16 Vocal Jazz 2015-16   More... Auditions will be held on Monday June 13th AND Tuesday June 14th beginning at at 12:03 PM in the choral room. It will be an open audition for all interested students i.e. you all need to be there for 12:03 PM. Our spring choral concert is on Thursday, June 2nd, at 7PM in the Westwoid Theatre. Concert attire must be worn - Men: black dress shoes, dark suits with a white or black collared shirt and a solid coloured tied; Ladies - dress shoes, and a fancy/classy dress of your choice. Note: Make sure your attire is in keeping with the school dress code. Call time for the show is at 6PM, and the concert will last about an hour and 15 mins. Come join us in an exciting evening celebrating the fantastic music making that is happening in the Westwood Family of Schools.  On April 12th at 6:00PM in the Westwood Collegiate Gym (360 Rouge) you will get a chance to hear the wonderful Bands, Choirs and Orff Ensembles From: Phoenix, Sansome, Robert Browning, Lincoln and Westwood Collegiate (Concert Choir and Transcedence).  Admission is free.

The Concert Choir will not sing at Winnipeg Music Festival's Choral Excellence Concert on March 16 because many of our students will be at the Brandon Jazz Festval on the same day.

Good luck at the Winnipeg Music Festival tonight!  All students need to be on the bus for the 6:00 PM departure.

Westwood Choirs WINNIPEG MUSIC FESTIVAL and Other Important Dates Winnipeg Music Festival - at Westminster United Church, Transportation by school bus, and all black concert attire will be worn with pashminas - We are really looking forward to these performances! Our students LOVE having all the parents, families, and friends in the audience! Westwood Choirs Upcoming Dates Music Celebration  -  February 8th, evening - Sturgeon Creek United Church - all Westwood Choral students are performing in this choir festival as follows: Concert Choir at 5:50PM & 6:50PM; Chamber Choir at 6:10M & 7:30 PM; and Transcendence at 7:50PM. Transportation by parent drivers/private vehicles. Students  meet at the church half an hour ahead of their group's performance time  in concert attire i.e. all black (including black socks/tights, and  dress shoes .
